INESC P&D Brazil this month complete two years of activity. Annual General Meeting, held on the 14th, in São Paulo, were discussed and presented the annual report for the year 2013, the strategic plan of activities for 2014 and the budget for 2015. In two years of activity INESC P&D Brazil has a defined organizational structure, “which represent an important step forward and implements a goal left for this year,” refers director of INESC P&D Brazil Mauro Rosa, but also a INESC Brazil Network consolidated, with the accession of a sufficient number of Brazilian universities that “give credibility to the project,” he adds.
Last year INESC P&D Brazil assured official recognition by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), being thus recognized by the Brazilian Federal Government, which legitimizes its action as an institution of science and technology in Brazil.
For this year, the prospect is that the working basis and established contractual relation allow some “growth and consolidation, with a scenario of financial sustainability, “says Mauro Rosa.
At the Annual General Meeting of INESC P&D Brazil attended by current Directors of INESC P&D Brazil, Alexandre Rocco, Mauro Rosa and Vladimiro Miranda; director of INESC Porto, João Peças Lopes ; Secretary Paula Albuquerque; the lawyers Tatiana Lopes Balula and Vera Lucia Mautone and also chairman of the Fiscal Council of INESC P & D Brazil, Paula Faria.
