Glauber Brante received his PhD degree in Telecommunications and Networks from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Curitiba, in 2013. In 2012 was visiting researcher at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics, and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM) of the Catholic University of Louvain, in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. Currently is Adjunct Professor at UTFPR. His research interests include wireless communication, energy efficiency, spatial diversity techniques and physical layer security. In 2014 received the CAPES Thesis Award in Electrical Engineering. In 2016 was corecipient of the Research Award of the Cuban Academy of Science. Was co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Communication and Information Systems, a journal sponsored by the Brazilian Telecommunications Society, between 2018 and 2020. He is Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters since 2018, IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society since 2019, and Frontier in Communications and Networks since 2020.
