Electrical Engineering graduation at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul – PUCRS in 2005. Master degree at PUCRS in 2008 through the Electrical Power Systems Program. PhD degree at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto – FEUP in 2014 through the Sustainable Energy Systems from the MIT-Portugal program. Posdoctoral at Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC in 2015. Assistant Professor at Caxias do Sul University – UCS from 2008 to 2009. Assistant Professor at FEUP from 2010 to 2011. Researcher at INESC TEC from 2009 to 2014. Associated researcher at INESC P&D Brasil since 2014. Professor at UFSC since 2015. Main research activities are developed in Power Systems Planning Laboratory – LabPLan (UFSC) and Electrical Engineering Technologic Center – NTEEL (UFSC). The research guidelines are: Power Systems Planning and Operation considering the ontegration of Renewable Energy Sources, Power Systems Reliability.
