Samuel Moniz, investigator of the Center of Engineering of Business Systems (CESE) of INESC TEC, attended the ICT Week: Innovation and Digital Transformation/Brazil-European Union Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing, which took place on December 4 and 5 at the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication, in Brasilia.
This event, organized by the European Union, by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC) and by the National Network of Teaching and Research (RNP), has the goal of establishing a collaborative ecosystem between Brazil and the European Union in the advanced manufacturing field (Industry 4.0) through the sharing of information, experience and best practices of technical and political nature.
The researcher presented the EFFRA (European Factories of the Future Research Association) policies and programs for advanced manufacturing at European Union and the projects developed at INESC TEC in the industry and innovation cluster.
This event also had a presentation from Leonardo Bremermann, from INESC P&D Brazil, about FASTEN, a cooperative project between EU and Brazil, coordinated by INESC TEC.
