On 31 May, the protocol of accession of the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) to the INESC Brasil’s Network was signed by its Rector, Dácio Roberto Matheus. In the relationship between these two entities, this agreement establishes the general rules related to the coordination and development of technology, scientific and professional exchange activities, thus facilitating the scientific research work of both entities, as well as the growth of the communities involved. This way, the joint activities in the Network are reinforced since there are several initiatives that are being carried out, not only for the launch of joint research projects, but also for ongoing projects. Currently, in addition to INESC TEC, INESC Brasil’s Network is composed of 18 entities: UFABC, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Federal University of Santa Maria(UFSM), Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Federal University of Juíz de Fora (UFJF), Santa Catarina State University (UDESC), Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Federal Fluminense University (UFF), Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI), University of São Paulo/São Carlos (USP/SC) and Federal University of Technology of Paraná (UTFPR).
