The SmartSE project aimed at developing a methodology for centralized differential bus protection at 15 kV, with efficient use of the process bus, as provided by IEC 61850. As a result, a new standard of digital systems will be conceived, focused on supervision, protection and control for substations, including training and updating plan for the CPFL Group technical standards.
The coordination was carried out by INESC R&D Brazil with participation of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Federal University of Santa Maria and Federal University of Santa Catarina. The research received funding from Fox Internet of Things – Fox IoT.
