Short CV – Erika Pequeno

She has concluded her undergraduate studies in Mathematics at the Sciences and Technologies School of Coimbra University, Portugal (2009) and her master’s degree in Applied Mathematics in the Statistics, Optimization and Financial Mathematics areas at the same University. The master’s degree dissertation topic was “Analysis of main components”, approved with a classification of 15 from a scale of values ranging from 0-20. She was a research scholarship recipient at INESC Porto – Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering of Porto, now named Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering, Technology and Science – INESC TEC – (Portugal), where she developed works focused on the application of Statistics and Optimization concepts to the area of Electric Power Systems. She is currently a PhD student at the Post-Graduation Electrical Engineering Program at Santa Catarina Federal University. She has experience in the Applied Mathematics field, with emphasis in Statistics and Optimization, as well as in the areas of Power Systems, Wind Power Forecast and Neuronal Networks.
