Short CV – Milena Faria Pinto

Currently a Permanent Professor of the Electronic Engineering Department of the Celso Suckow da Fonseca Federal Technological Education Center (CEFET-RJ), Professor at the CEFET-RJ Graduate Department in Electrical Engineering, researcher and post-doc student in the area of Robotics at the Energy Department of the UFJF Graduate program in Electrical Engineering. Milena hold a degree in Control and Automation Engineering from the Federal Technological Education Center of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). Has Master’s and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), with a year attending the PhD program at the Technische Universität München. Background in both the industrial area and in research. Academic internship at the Institut für Verbrennungstechnik – DLR, in Stuttgart (Germany) and at Alternativa Elétrica, in Ubá (Brazil) in the panel automation and assembly sector. Worked as an engineer at TELNAV Naval Telecommunications in Macaé (Brazil). Her areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Electronics, Robot Systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Data Processing and Fog-Cloud Computing.
