Rodrigo Antonio Marques Braga was born in 1973 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, in Control and Automation Engineering and Electrical Engineering. He worked at the FENG – Faculty of Engineering of PUCRS, as a lecturer until 2011. From 2006 to 2010, he worked with LIACC/FEUP, Porto, Portugal. He received the Ph.D.degree from FEUP – Faculty of Engineering of Porto University in 2010 in Informatics Engineering. Since 2011, he is a professor at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in the Design and Engineering Area. Currently, he is with PRONTO3D LAB, Multidesign group and Innovation Lab, where he has developed his research interests which include product design, robotics, artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, intelligent vehicles and rapid prototyping. Additionally, he is an area coordinator of INESC P&D Brazil.
